1. Reunion

Mistaken for a thief while chasing a demon, Wu Zhen flees into the Ruyi Pavilion. Meanwhile, Mei Zhuyu, a newcomer to Chang'an, faces cold sarcasm and ridicule. Ultimately, Wu Zhen sees through the demon's disguise and successfully captures the bat demon.

2. Investigating the Truth

Wu Zhen and Mei Zhuyu investigates Bi Tao, Mei Zhuyu disperses the swarm of bats. Wu Zhen transforms into a cat, hiding her identity.

3. The Celebratory Banquet

Mei Zhu Yu and Mei Si chat about Wu Zhen's past. Mei Si advises Mei Zhu Yu to steer clear of her. Wu Zhen and Mei Zhu Yu search for the Undecaying Bone at a jewelry shop, but it manages to evade their grasp again and again.

4. Seeking the Undecaying Bone

Wu Zhen joins hands with Liu Tai Zhen. She pretends to be frightened by the shadow demon. The shadow demon burned herself to death after Xia Lou Bai's betrayal. Wu Zhen and Mei Zhu Yu are overcome with emotion.

5. Revealing the Undecaying Bone

Wu Zhen retrieves the Undecaying Bone. Liu Tai Zhen and the elders of the Four Sects join hands to destroy the Undecaying Bone, but they fail. They realize that it's the remains of a sinister fiend.

6. Reality and Illusion

Wu Zhen and Mei Zhu Yu go to the mountains. Wu Zhen accidentally sprains her ankle. Mei Zhu Yu carries her on her back. Meanwhile, Mountain Specter and Elder Gray scheme to kill Wu Zhen to prevent her from obtaining the Lightning Wood.

7. Walk the Same Path

Wu Zi Shu, angered by Elder Gray's attack on Wu Zhen, secretly subjects him to torture in the Demon Prison. Though Wu Zi Shu is repeatedly summoned by the Undecaying Bone, he cannot discern its intent. Elder Gray, realizing Wu Zi Shu must be connected to the Undecaying Bone, hints that one day they may walk the same path.

8. Promotion

Mei Zhu Yu rushes to the ancestral hall to look for Shuang Jiang. He runs into Wu Zhen. Wu Zhen asks Mei Zhu Yu why he's avoiding her.

9. Kindness

Mei Zhu Yu and Wu Zhen discover that the so-called demon is in fact Princess Yuan Zhen. Wu Zhen saves the White Camellia Spirit from danger by eliminating the poisonous moths. Although Mei Zhu Yu knows the White Camellia Spirit is a demon, he takes pity on the true love between him and the princess, and chooses not to capture him.

10. The Lantern Festival

Using the heavenly thunder, Wu Zi Shu, Wu Zhen, and the rest finally destroy the Undecaying Bone. Wu Zi Shu faints from the shock and recovers his memory with the sinister fiend. The suppressed core on Wu Zhen's chest starts to act irregularly due to the demonic powers.

11. Spreading Rumors

Wu Zhen exhausts her powers to treat Mei Zhu Yu and allows him to stay until he fully recovers. Rumors about Wu Zhen and Mei Zhu Yu start spreading.

12. The Deathmatch

Elder Gray issues a challenge of a Deathmatch to Wu Zhen. On the night of the new moon, under an ominous sky, all demons in the Demon City gather to witness their battle.

13. Accidentally Entering the Demon Market

While searching for the demons, Mei Zhu Yu arrives at Yunong House, located across from the Skin Shop. At the same time, Wu Zhen is inside the shop, repairing a crack in the barrier.

14. Admiring the Flowers

Wu Zhen invites Mei Zhu Yu to admire the blooming flowers at the western suburbs. Mei Zhu Yu tells Wu Zhen why he's been avoiding her all along.

15. Stay

Mei Zhu Yu stays in Chang An to investigate Pei Ji Ya while Wu Zhen joins the Scented Duel with others.

An Bi Luo's frenzied behavior sparks chaos at the competition. Wu Zhen and Mei Zhu Yu discover he has been possessed by a goose demon.

17. Mystery of the Ink Demons

Mei Si draws demons with his new ink. Xuan Hui realizes the ink contains an evil spell when the drawing of a tiger comes to life.

18. Asking For One's Hand

Mei Zhu Yu and Wu Zhen return to the residence together. Pei Ji Ya appears and asks for her hand. Mei Zhu Yu senses that there's something off with Pei Ji Ya. He suspects that he was up to no good.

19. Setting a Trap

Wu Zi Shu is jealous after hearing rumors about Pei Ji Ya and Wu Zhen. Wu Zhen meets Wu Zi Shu to set a trap for Pei Ji Ya by luring him to the Lin'an River.

20. Confession

Mei Zhu Yu and Wu Zhen are caught in the formation. After confessing his love to Wu Zhen, Mei Zhu Yu pushes her out of the stalagmite formation, while he plummets to the depth below.

21. Making the Relationship Public

Wu Zi Shu knocks out Wu Zhen with a spell and brings her back to the Demon City. He asks Wu Zhen why she fell in love with a mortal.

22. Leaving the Sect and Getting Married

Chang Ming wants to appoint Mei Zhu Yu as the Head Administrator of the sect. Mei Zhu Yu declines his offer. He intends to leave the sect and get married. The other sect members are dumbfounded.

23. Official Proposal

Under Chang Ming's request, Mei Zhu Yu leaves behind the Changxi Truncheon. He leaves the sect after that. Meanwhile, Wu Zhen is absent-minded due to Mei Zhu Yu's long absence.

24. The Wedding

Mei Zhu Yu and Wu Zhen are finally married. On their wedding day, guests gather to witness the ceremony.
